Meditation

 

Meditation has been valued for thousands of years by many cultures.

Ancient civilizations were wery aware of its profound benefits.

They knew the impotance of being able to still the mind and connect to our inner being (spirit) and the Universe.

 

There are now numerous studies done, that further proves the tremendous benefits meditation has on the body, mind, and emotions.

 

Several reseach studies, using new technology, showed consistent astounding positive results, and confirmed the following findings:

 

Meditation improves our concentration, attention and emotions, and heightens our feelings of self-acceptance, life purpose and life satisfaction.

 

It greatly improves our overall physical health too:

The “relaxation response” that occur from meditation, results in decreased muscle tension, blood pressure and heart rate.

It also results in: increased immunity, better digestion, healthier cell production, and an extensive anti-inflammatory and cellular anti-aging effect.

 

These results lasted not only during the meditations, but in many cases several hours to days after.

 

Anyone can learn to meditate, and with practice you will find, that it gets easier and easier to go to that place of stillness within you.

Even in a noisy or chaotic environment.

 

WHAT TO EXPECT IN A MEDITATION SESSION:

In the meditation sessions, you will learn different techniques to gently “tame the mind”, and connect with your spirit.

 

The sessions can be done either sitting or laying down to keep the spine straight.

We will also practice Pranayama (yogic breathing) and other breath exercises.

Sometimes we may use specific Mudras (hand gestures) to enhance our concentration and focus. You will also learn techniques to balance and purify the chakras (energy vortex areas) in your body.

 

When you learn and apply the practice of meditation,and breathwork, you will have an invaluable tool for life!
