Hatha Yoga

(Nature Spirit approach)

These Yoga classes are based on the teachings of Hatha Yoga, which is the worlds oldest system of Yoga.

When practiced properly, with deep breathing and calm mental focus, it will promote vibrant health in the entire nervous system, by increasing the flow of Prana (life force) throughout the body.

It stimulates and balances the endocrine glands as well as the lymphatic system, thereby promoting optimum health, rejuvenation and purification.

Yoga strengthens, balances and detoxifies both body and mind.

It will make us strong, flexible and radiant, and can help us connect deeper with ourselves, Mother Earth and the Universe.

In the classes you will learn to still the mind, while moving the body from the “inside out”.

We will also practice different Pranayama (yogic breathing) techniques and specific poses and techniques to balance our chakras.

We might connect with and gain healing and wisdom from Spirit, Mother Nature and the Universe.

All classes contain Pranayama and ends with Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) and Meditation.

You will learn modifications to the more challenging poses, so that you can feel comfortable and reasonably challenged in every class.

Joy and laughter is a great tension reliever, so humour is welcome in any class!
